Global Education & Development
Global Education and Development cic is a pluralist association active in the field of peace, values, cooperation, environment and global citizenship with people of all cultures, backgrounds, ethnicities and philosophical beliefs. It offers children, teenagers and adults training, activities and educational tools to encourage them to become actors of positive change in themselves and in their environment.
Our organization has been active for more than fifteen years in Belgium, in India and is recognized as a National Youth Organisation in Belgium, as well as by the European Youth Federation under the Council of Europe. It has also a consultative status with the United Nations’ Economic and Social Council since 2018.
Activities for young people are developed both in a school and non-school setting, so that they can learn peace and value education, global citizenship on a weekly basis. GED cic also works on the social and intercultural integration of people from various national and cultural backgrounds. It also coordinates a study, training and research centre.

Their parenting programmes have been based on a number of key factors. The purpose is to train parents and children to live more fulfilling lives in their own way through teaching pragmatic application of:
1: A set of competencies of peace and values, in line with being actively involved in the education of peace & values globally for over 20 years so that we are able to leave a positive environment of kindness and joy in families.
2: For these competencies to be transferred in all areas of life and living such as family life, parenting, our jobs and the difference we want to make in life

our team
Anupam Premanand
Director
Anupam is a double master in education, literature and in comparative religions.
He is the co-founder of Foundation for Global Education and Development in India and Education Globale et Développement in Belgium.
He has been developing the peace and value education at the grassroot in different social contexts. He has conceived, designed and developed a novel approach to integration of people of diverse backgrounds in the contexts of migration, professional movement and new socialisation needs.
Dr. Christine Jaminon
Director
Christine completed her Phd in sociology of education in UCL, Belgium .
She is the co founder of Education Globale et Développement in Belgium and the Foundation for Global Education and Development in India.
She has been developing the peace and value education at the grassroot in different contexts, she has initiated an international network of experts in peace and value education and contributed to the development of the curriculum and methodology of peace and value education for young people aged from 2 to 18 years old.
Faridah
Program Coordinator
Faridah completed her Bsc in Biomedical Sciences at Brunel University London.
She is the project coordinator for Global Education and Development CIC. Faridah has experience working with children and young people as well as extensive knowledge of marketing and research.
She is responsible for the administrative management of the association, the development of Educational and promotional material as well as creation of effective promotional strategies.
Daniella
Program Facillitator
Daniella is the program facilitator. She has extensive experience working with children and young people including those with special needs.
Daniella will plan, organise and supervise team building activities in Peace Class as an animator.
Marie
Program Facilitator
Marie-Line Cherif is a Biomedical Science graduate and the founder of Marie Emmanuel Foundation in Ivory Coast.
She has been in active in the Humanitarian Sector for a few years. Marie has tremendous experience working with children and young people; so she will be helping to animate Peace Classes.
She is also fluent in French which allows her to effortlessly work with our branches in Belgium and France.
Daniel
Program Facilitator
Daniel has proficient IT skills, extensive knowledge and a great passion for graphics, design and digital media.
He assisted with the creation of this website and the designing of flyers and leaflets for Global Education & Development CIC.
He is also in charge of running our social media platforms.
